come as you are, as you were, as we were never meant to stay or be

I remember all the inside jokes, the symbiotic goofiness we shared. Animated and carefree, however you developed a destructive disposition toward me and it grew to pre-occupy more of our time together . The threat of it all being akin to swallowing poison. Eventually (with great pains) I accepted great bonds are not immune to being destructible. Now those moments they are far and few in-between because it only works when we are near one another sporadically. Sometimes happiness is best left to memories.
