"I will take this road much further though I know not where it takes me"

Incredible and criminal this song never got the same attention as "Nothing Compares to You," just ignored and shoved into some void, too complex in it's sensitivity and simplicity for the general public and record company profiteers.

I hope you have the peace now that this life did not allow you. Thank you for your gift, the bravery of your voice musically and politically. Too many cowards with platforms silent when convenient and white wash their words and actions and still get the applause and rewarded as some sort of humanitarians. They are tormented and frightened not to be loved and forever pining for a happy medium balancing on an acceptable pedestal by the public. They cannot bear to lose being beloved because that’s how they were taught to survive. Not that you should have been some martyr or you needed to prove yourself to others. You did it because you couldn't ask any less of yourself. Your sorrows and pain mattered even when you were written off as another mad woman. I hope those you left behind are able to still love and forgive your early passing. I hope your son is with you and whatever you couldn't find in this life you are blooming with or into in the next. "I want to talk about Ireland..."

As a woman if you're not palpable you are defective to them. If you stare into their eyes not smiling meeting their gaze but not asking for forgiveness before you open your mouth and speak something painful, truthful, brutal you will be scorned. And if you have a crazed mind you are left for the ashes to consume you. If you're a man you will be celebrated as wise but eccentric, but what a guy, what an artist! But if you are a woman, fuck you bitch. We love to martyr women after their lives are over, and the more tragic the greater glory we bestow till on to the next.

Rest In Peace Sinead, a real fucking one

"These are dangerous days"

Margaret Thatcher on TV

Shocked by the deaths that took place in Beijing

It seems strange that she should be offended

The same orders are given by her

I've said this before now

You said I was childish and you'll say it now

Remember what I told you

If they hated me they will hate you

England's not the mythical land of Madame George and roses

It's the home of police who kill black boys on mopeds

And I love my boy and that's why I'm leaving

I don't want him to be aware that there's

Any such thing as grieving

Young mother down at Smithfield

Five a.m., looking for food for her kids

In her arms she holds three cold babies

And the first word that they learned was please

These are dangerous days

To say what you feel is to dig your own grave

Remember what I told you

If you were of the world they would love you

England's not the mythical land of Madame George and roses

It's the home of police who kill blacks boys on mopeds

And I love my boy and that's why I'm leaving

I don't want him to be aware that there's

Any such thing as grieving
